To Manage Lake Blackshear Resort and Golf Club

Naples, FL (June 3, 2004) -- Last week, Georgia Mountains Authority retained Coral Hospitality to manage Lake Blackshear Resort and Golf Club, www.lakeblackshearretreat.org, an 88-room resort with meetings facilities and an 18-hole championship golf course located in the heart of the Georgia Veterans Memorial State Park in the town of Cordele. This contract marks Coral's entry into the Georgia market. The company plans to open a regional office in Atlanta as they continue to expand their portfolio in this area.

As The Retreat's new management company, Coral Hospitality will oversee all facets of the property's operations, including human resources and sales and marketing. Coral's management team is carefully working on integration with the existing staff and Garrett Miller will remain as the General Manager.

"We are excited about the opportunity to venture north into Georgia. Lake Blackshear Resort and Golf Club is an ideal fit for our portfolio," said John Ayres, CEO of Coral Hospitality. "We feel that travelers can take advantage of the I-75 highway corridor and visit the property, experiencing its unique location and distinct amenities."

Lake Blackshear Resort and Golf Club features 88 charming guestrooms in the main lodge, villas or lakeside cottages -- all with lake views and generously appointed, including workstations with high-speed Internet access. Cordelia's Restaurant offers casual lakeside dining for breakfast and lunch, and features classic Italian-inspired menus for fine dining in the evenings. Try EightyEights for cocktails and conversation. The Retreat is offering a special 'Bed & Breakfast Getaway' of $125.99 per night, based on double occupancy, including a deluxe guestroom and breakfast for two in Cordelia's restaurant.

The Retreat is ideal for meetings and social events, with 10,000 square feet of meeting space, where groups of 10 to 450 will be well taken care of. There is a business center, executive meeting planner and professional banquet services on-site, as well as creative meeting packages. Wedding parties receive white-glove service, tailored menus, special honeymoon and first anniversary gifts with stunning lakeside surroundings.

Recreation is a must with a top-rated golf on the 18-hole championship golf course designed by Dennis Griffith, an indoor/outdoor pool, fitness center, lake activities, nature trails and swimming, as well as boating, fishing and hunting at Turkey Creek Plantation.

North Georgia Mountains Authority is the owner of Lake Blackshear Resort and Golf Club. "Coral Hospitality brings a unique perspective to management in a resort setting," states Bob Newsom, North Georgia Mountains Authority. "Their extensive hospitality management expertise includes a history of managing everything from independent, boutique resorts and golf clubs to large, luxury branded hotels throughout the United States and Caribbean."
