Coral Hospitality to Manage New Luxury Hotel & Spa, Residences, and Beach Club in Delray Beach
November 20, 2005 – Naples, FL – Coral Hospitality has been selected by HHC Florida, LLC (www.hhcflorida.com) to manage the Seagate property in Delray Beach, Florida. Located at 400 South Ocean Boulevard, this historic site will be transformed into new oceanfront condominium residences and private beach club with a new luxury hotel and spa being developed on Atlantic Avenue. The full project development is slated for completion in Fall 2007.
Coral Hospitality will spearhead the operations, personnel, and sales and marketing programs. “Seagate is perfectly poised as a major focal point for Delray Beach. This unique mixed-use project will create a luxury resort and residences that will attract guests and owners seeking a small town with big city appeal along the Atlantic Ocean,” said Lee Weeks, CEO of Coral Hospitality.
The newly developed Seagate will feature a 66-suite condo hotel with signature restaurant and lounge, luxury spa and fitness center, and 10,000 square feet of new retail options along the bustling Atlantic Avenue. Guest suites will include pieces from a new hotel line being created by The Wendell Castle Collection and Icon Design in New York.
The transformation of the existing beach club, originally constructed in 1935, will offer members a dramatic two-level oceanfront club with lounge, restaurant, pool and sundeck. Design plans are to retain that "Old Florida" character that generations of members know and love, yet enhance it with elegant Bahamian architecture and interior styling.
Potential owners seeking a prime location in the emerging destination can select from 31 luxury condominiums located along South Ocean Boulevard, ranging in size from 2,500 to 6,000 square feet, with pricing at $2.5 to $6 million. Most will offer an expansive 4-bedroom, 4-bath floor plan.
The project’s design partners include internationally renowned architects, Randall Stofft, and interior designers, Hirsch Bedner Associates.
Known worldwide as a first-class resort town, Delray Beach is located in southern Palm Beach County with access to two miles of beach. The destination has become a city to see and be seen. Locals and visitors alike enjoy top restaurants, clubs, a treasure trove of more than 150 different boutiques and galleries, museums, nature centers, and outdoor recreation.
