Coral Hospitality Retained By JMC Communities To Manage Clearwater Beach’s New $140 million Sandpearl Resort
NAPLES, FL (August 10, 2005) – JMC Communities retained Coral Hospitality to manage the new Sandpearl Resort, a $140 million 253-room beachfront resort located on the shores of Clearwater Beach. The former historic Clearwater Beach Hotel site will be transformed into a luxury resort blending classic old Florida style with contemporary sophistication and conveniences, slated for completion in early 2007.
As the resort’s management company, Coral Hospitality will oversee the property’s operations, personnel, sales and marketing programs, and condo/hotel units. The relationship started in Summer 2004 with technical services and marketing consultation, and continues with Coral’s management team working closely with the construction, design and ownership team to ensure that this project will make a major impact in the Clearwater Beach renaissance district.
"This is a tremendous opportunity for Coral Hospitality to be a part of such a unique and highly anticipated redevelopment project for Clearwater Beach," said John Ayres, Chairman of Coral Hospitality. "The team brings true creativity and a personal commitment to providing leisure and business travelers with an upscale resort experience that becomes an extension of their home, with special touches that surpass expectations,” adds CEO Lee Weeks.
The new Sandpearl Resort features 253 guestrooms and suites, a world class spa and fitness center, beach club, kid’s enrichment program, oceanfront pool with Jacuzzi, signature restaurant and lounge, beach bar and grill, concierge services, 20,000 sq. ft. meeting and event space, business center, retail shops and much more. The resort is situated on 5.5 acres with 700 feet of expansive beach edging the Gulf of Mexico. 50 luxury suites will be sold in the condominium/hotel category, offering owners the amenities and services of the luxury resort.
